摘要：Проаналізовано проблеми еволюції взаємин старої інтелігенції України з радянською владою наприкінці Української революції 1917–1921 рр. і в перші роки нової економічної політики. При цьому основна увага приді-ляється трансформації поглядів і соціально-політичних позицій різних прошарків інтелігенції щодо радянського режиму в Україні, який змушений був перейти до нової економічної політики, яка втілювалася в Україні дещо пізніше, ніж в Російській Федерації. Показано, що зазначені історичні процеси відбувалися в жорстоких умовах розрухи народного господарства, голоду й епідемій. 其他摘要：The aim of this paper is to analyze the relations between the old intelligentsia and the Soviet government in Ukraine within the period of completion of the Ukrainian revolution of 1917–1921 and the transition to the implementation of the new economic policy by the Bolshevik regime. Research methodology. The author uses methods and principles of culturological and comparative approach, which make it possible to analyze the evolution of the views of the old intelligentsia in relation to the Bolshevik regime in Ukraine and its policy regarding the intelligentsia and Ukrainian culture. Results . The author analyzes a great number of insufficiently studied archive sources, examines complicated and tragic personified fates of various groups of the bourgeois intelligentsia in Ukraine, who suffered both from the cruelty of the Soviet regime and its rulers, and from the economic devastation, hunger and epidemics. The paper demonstrates that the most part of the old intelligentsia did not support the Soviet power and opposed its policy regarding the intellectuals and Ukrainian culture. The intelligentsia interpreted the new economic policy as a transition to the revival of the capitalist system, which had to accelerate the fall of the odious Bolshevik regime. Novelty. The paper is the first attempt to analyze the complicated and tragic relations between the old intelligentsia and the Soviet government in Ukraine drawing on culturological and comparative methodological approaches. The practical significance. The information contained in this paper and its results can be used in the process of further research into the issues of the relations between the old intelligentsia and the Soviet government in Ukraine during the Ukrainian revolution of 1917–1921 and the first years of the new economic policy. This is of great importance especially today, when the Russian Federation pursues an aggressive imperial policy toward Ukraine, its independence, culture, intellectual elite and people. It may be useful when writing methodological recommendations and text-books on the corresponding courses of lectures.
