摘要：O presente trabalho realiza uma análise acerca da cultura visual e da conservação do patrimônio urbano, tendo como fonte de inspiração leis e práticas de proteção do patrimônio cultural na Itália influenciadas por Gustavo Giovannoni. Toma como ponto de partida a observação de duas séries de cartões-postais que tematizam a cidade de Maceió: uma do início do século XX e uma atual. Entende que estes documentos são instrumentos privilegiados para identificar mudanças e permanências na valorização de marcos paisagísticos e para identificar, sobretudo, transformações nos modos de vê-los. Procura, por fim, levantar algumas hipóteses sobre os motivos das referidas continuidades e descontinuidades nos modos de ver a cidade e como esses modos de ver podem ser considerados, também, patrimônio.
其他摘要：The present work carries out an interweaving of visual culture and the conservation of urban heritage, taking as its source of inspiration the laws and practices for the protection of cultural heritage in Italy as influenced by Gustavo Giovannoni. This interweaving is constructed from an analysis of two series of postcards which have as their theme the city of Maceió: one from the start of the 20th century and one from the present time. It is understood that these documents are privileged instruments for the identification of changes and permanences in the valuing of landscape features and for identifying, above all, transformations in the ways of seeing them. Finally, we seek to raise some hypotheses about the motives for the referred continuities and discontinuities in the ways of seeing the city and how they may be considered as heritage.
