摘要：Los festejos del Centenario de la Independencia de México incluyeron eventos de carácter científi co, como el Concurso Científi co y Artístico del Centenario de 1911, que coincidió con el inicio de la Revolución mexicana. En él, algunos científi cos presentaron conferencias que tuvieron por tema la evaluación histórica de sus disciplinas, en este caso medicina, farmacia y química. Dicha evaluación estuvo a tono con la interpretación positiva de la historia mexicana al dividir el desarrollo científi co en tres etapas: 1821-1867, 1867-1876 y 1876-1910. La última de ellas abarcó la presidencia de Porfi rio Díaz y fue juzgada como el período de auge y modernización de la ciencia mexicana a manera de apología del régimen durante la crisis social desatada en ese año.
其他摘要：The Centenary of the Independence of Mexico included scientifi c events such as the Science and Art Centennial Contest in 1911 that coincided with the start of the Mexican Revolution. In the competition some scientists presented lectures were focused historical assessment of their disciplines, in this case, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Chemistry. The assessment was in line with the positivist interpretation of Mexican history by breaking scientifi c development in three stages: 1821-1867, 1867-1876 y 1876-1910. The last one included the presidency of Porfi rio Díaz and was rated as the boom period and modernization of Mexican science as an apology for the social crisis unleashed in 1911.
