摘要：O município de Jaramataia, localizado no Sertão de Alagoas, possui uma população de 5.558 habitantes (IBGE, 2010) e nele são estabelecidas relações campo-cidade mediadas pela articulação de fluxos que emergem dos seus espaços urbanos e rurais. O município é composto por sete povoados e um assentamento, apresentando cadeias produtivas ligadas à produção de leite, pescado e agricultura de subsistência temporal e permanente nos moldes do trabalho sustentável/familiar. Face ao exposto, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi compreender as dinâmicas populacionais que se estabelecem entre a sede de Jaramataia e as áreas onde se concentram os principais fluxos dessas cadeias produtivas que estão situadas no perímetro rural. Para além disso, o estudo coloca na agenda de análise a realidade de cidades pequenas que mantêm a complexa relação com o campo por meio da agricultura. 其他摘要：The municipality of Jaramataia, located in the Sertão de Alagoas, has a population of 5,558
inhabitants (IBGE, 2010) and it establishes field-city relations mediated by the articulation of flows that
emerge from its urban and rural spaces. The municipality is made up of seven villages and a settlement,
with productive chains linked to milk production, fish and subsistence agriculture in the mold of
sustainable / family work. Given the above, the objective of this research was to understand the
population dynamics that are established between the headquarters of Jaramataia and the areas where the
main flows of these productive chains that are located in the rural perimeter are concentrated. In addition,
the study places on the analysis agenda the reality of small towns that maintain the complex relationship
with the countryside through agriculture. Methodologically, a bibliographic survey was performed based
on the keywords town-country, small town, production chain and agro-industry, and then semistructured
questionnaires were elaborated and applied, and finally, the data were analyzed.
