摘要：Este artigo pretende refletir sobre as relações entre cinema e história a partir de três filmes, realizados por diretoras do Chile, da Argentina e do Brasil, que tiveram envolvimento direto com os traumas e as lutas contra as ditaduras militares em seus países. Problematizando o trabalho com testemunhos orais como parte central de seus roteiros, buscaremos situar a maneira como estas cineastas rastrearam fragmentos e privilegiaram subjetividades, por meio da produção documental, e perceber como a aceitação ou a ruptura com modelos tradicionais fílmicos constituíram suas narrativas. Além disso, considerando a arte – e inserido nela o cinema – como elemento singular de posicionamento político e como parte de um diálogo interdisciplinar, argumentaremos sobre a possibilidade de uma produção historiográfica no interior destas fontes ou a partir delas.ABSTRACT: This article intends to reflect on the relations between cinema and history from the analysis of three movies by women film makers of Chile, Argentina and Brazil, that were directly involved with the traumas and the fight against military dictatorships in their countries. Questioning the work with oral testimonies as the central part of their scripts, we will situate the way how these film makers pursued fragments and privileged subjectivities inside their documental production, and we will try to realize how the acceptation or denial of traditional film patterns have constituted their narratives. Besides that, considering art – and inside it cinema – as a singular element of political positioning and as part of an interdisciplinary dialog, we will argue about the possibility of a historical production inside these sources or emerging from them.
