摘要：A proposta é de apresentar uma metodologia para análise epigráfica que seja útil aos pesquisadores de História. Afinal, acreditamos que metodologia para epigrafia pode auxiliar a extrair diversas informações preciosas para uma pesquisa que poderiam ser omitidas em uma análise superficial. Assim iremos expor as etapas e categorias de análise com um estudo de caso sobre a cidade romana de Sagunto, no século I d.C.. ABSTRACT: The paper is a somewhat indirect part of the 'theme essay' around which the present volume is organized. The proposal is to present a methodology for epigraphic analysis that is useful to researchers of history. We focus on segmenting the methodology. Therefore, it has the interest to provide a more thorough analysis and more details about the information contained in the epigraphs.
