摘要：Este trabalho pretende empreender uma análise e interpretação da adaptação fílmica de Morte em Veneza (1971) de Luchino Visconthi a partir da novela homônima de Thomas Mann. Assim, num primeiro momento, é utilizado o aporte teórico de André Bazin, Robert Stam, Umberto Eco, Gerárd Genette, entre outros estudiosos do assunto para problematizar questões como a “originalidade”, “intertextualidade”, “dialogismo” e “fidelidade” inserida na discussão das transposições fílmicas. O intuito desta contextualização inicial consiste em estabelecer as bases sobre as quais nossa análise de Morte em Veneza , em que preocuparemo-nos com os desafios estilísticos e narrativos da adaptação fílmica, será apoiada.
其他摘要：This work discusses the problems of the adaptation of the film Death in Venice (1971) by the filmmaker Luchino
Visconthi which is an adaptation from the homonymous novel of Thomas Mann. Thus, in a first moment, the
theoretical contribution of André Bazin is used, as well as the Robert Stam, Umberto Eco, Gerard Genette,
among other scholars to work questions about originality, intertextuality, dialogism and fidelity inserted in the
discussion of the filmic transpositions. The purpose of this initial contextualization is to lay the foundations on
which our analysis and interpretation of Death in Venice, where we will be concerned with the stylistic and
narrative challenges of adaptation, will be supported.
