摘要：Estudos vêm buscando apresentar abordagens de intervenção participativa à luz da gestão social, partindo de metodologias praxiológicas de intervenção social. Nesse sentido, o objetivo deste ensaio é apresentar as contribuições metodológicas do Diagnóstico Rápido Participativo Emancipador (DRPE) para a gestão social. Mostramos no artigo que o DRPE tem fundamento na participação e na deliberação buscando processos dialógicos de transformação da realidade. Dessa forma, a conjugação de técnicas de caráter participativo permite a obtenção de informações qualitativas e quantitativas em curto espaço de tempo. A gestão social e o DRPE contribuem para a construção de uma sociedade democrática, quebrando o silêncio e a falta de participação da sociedade em questões de bem comum, com isso, temos que estas buscam e prezam pelo consenso, entendimento e possibilitam a reflexão crítica da realidade.
