摘要：A pesquisa faz parte da tese de doutoramento sobre a proteção social produzida pelos familiares de adolescentes em conflito com a lei na cidade de Chapadinha-Ma. É uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa realizada com o intuito de mapear o número de processos desta matéria a tramitar nesta cidade no intervalo do ano de 2013 ao ano de 2017, com vistas a trazer evidências das representações materiais e simbólicas envolvidas no ato infracional. Conclui-se inicialmente, que a prática do ato infracional é reflexo das diversas expressões da questão social, como necessidades impostas pela sociedade midiática, expressões da extrema de pobreza, exclusão e preconceitos que os adolescentes vivenciam e que tem mantido altos índices na comarca de Chapadinha. ABSTRACT This research is part of the doctoral thesis that discusses the social protection produced by the relatives of adolescents who committed an infraction in the city of Chapadinha-Ma. It aims to show a quantitative research carried out with the intention of mapping the number of processes of this matter to be processed in the forum of this city in the interval of research demarcated, from the year 2013 to the year 2017, with a view to bring evidence of the material and symbolic representations involved in the infraction. It is concluded initially that the practice of the infraction is a reflection of the diverse expressions of the social question, such as needs imposed by the media society, expressions of social abandonment as extreme poverty, exclusion and prejudices that adolescents experience and that has maintained high indices in the county of Chapadinha.
