标题：Percepção dos Alunos da Geração Y Sobre o Uso de Novas Tecnologias em Ambientes de Aprendizagem / Perception of Students of Generation Yand the Use of New Technologies in Learning Environments
摘要：A educação está passando por discussões que envolvem o modelo tradicional de ensino, as novas tecnologias do mundo contemporâneo e as gerações usuárias destas tecnologias. Neste processo surgem questões sobre as novas formas de ensinar, novos formatos das salas de aula, novos espaços destinados à educação, o novo papel da escola, do professor e do estudante. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a percepção de alunos da geração Y sobre o uso de novas tecnologias em ambientes de aprendizagem em uma IES privada. Foi realizada uma pesquisa descritiva, de caráter quali-quantitativo, com 255 alunos. Verificou-se que 86% deles utilizam a internet para o estudo, o lazer e o trabalho. No uso da disciplina Laboratório de Aprendizagem Integrada (LAI), 35% dos alunos consideraram positivo o uso dessa metodologia em seu processo de aprendizagem, 34% confirmaram que o uso da plataforma contribuiu para o estudo e aprendizagem e 27% confirmaram que a plataforma colaborou para o aumento do tempo de estudo. Considerando os problemas relatados sobre o processo de implantação da plataforma, concluiu-se que a estratégia é válida para melhorar a aprendizagem e ampliar o tempo de estudo, segundo os alunos da geração Y. ABSTRACT Education is going through discussions that involves the traditional teaching model, the new technologies of the contemporary world and the generations that use them. In this process questions arise about the new ways of teaching, new formats for classrooms, new spaces for education, the new role of the school, the teacher and the student. The objective of this study was to evaluate the perception of generation Y students about the use of new technologies in learning environments in a Higher Education Institution. A descriptive, qualitative-quantitative research was made with 255 students. It was revealed that 86% of the students use internet to study, work and in their free time. According to the use of the discipline name LAI – “Integrated Learning Lab” 35% of the students considered positive the learning outcome, 34% confirm that the use of the platform contributed to the study and learning of the subject studied and 27% confirm that the platform collaborated to increase the study time. Considering the problems reported to the process of platform deployment, it is concluded that the strategy is valid to improve the learning and to extend the study time, according to the students of the generation Y.
