  • 摘要:ABSTRACT Student achievement motivation will increase if given positive reinforcement in the form of prizes in learning mathematics in Class IV SD60603 Medan Petisah. The population of this study was conducted on all Class IV students at 060883 Medan Petisah Primary School. A total of 44 people, using positive reinforcement (prizes). This research was conducted in the subject area of Mathematics Subject "Long Unit Relations". The tools used to collect data in this study were the observation sheet for the teacher, the student motivation observation sheet and the list of student grades. The results showed that in the initial conditions, the average value of students' counts was 5.70 in the first cycle, the average value of students' counts increased by 6.02 while in cycle II there was a very significant increase, the students' average values rose to 8 , 81.
