  • 摘要:The company's ongoing business commitment begins with building good relationships with neighbors. Where a relationship is built to develop independent and prosperous society through corporate social activity better known as Corporate Social Responsibility. CSR activities are often interpreted as a charity activity that many companies that are merely acting as Santa Claus handing out gifts only to establish relationships with the community. It needs to be a consideration for the company that CSR activities should be based on the expectations and needs and in implementing tailored to the social and cultural conditions of communities around the organization. Therefore, the first step that must be done is to do social mapping in the area of operations. Social mapping is done in order to program planning and communication on target and has a high value of benefits to society. This is also done by PT X in the area of operations, PT X has conducted social mapping in the area around the organization. The results of the social mapping found potential, habits and obstacles that will be encountered in CSR activities based company's core business.

Abstrak: Komitmen bisnis berkelanjutan perusahaan diawali dengan membina hubungan baik dengan tetangga. Dimana hubungan dibangun untuk mengembangkan masyarakat yang mandiri dan sejahtera melalui aktivitas sosial perusahaan yang lebih dikenal dengan Corporate Social Responsibility. Aktivitas CSR perusahaan seringkali dimaknai sebagai aktivitas charity sehingga banyak perusahaan yang bertindak sebagai sinterklas semata yang hanya membagi- bagikan kado untuk menjalin relasi dengan masyarakat. Perlu menjadi catatan bagi perusahaan bahwa aktivitas CSR harus berbasis harapan dan kebutuhan serta dalam implementasikan disesuaikan dengan kondisi sosial dan budaya masyarakat sekitar organisasi. Oleh karena itu, langkah awal yang harus dilakukan adalah melakukan pemetaan sosial di daerah operasi. Pemetaan sosial di lakukan agar perencanaan program dan komunikasinya tepat sasaran dan memiliki nilai manfaat yang tinggi bagi masyarakat. Hal ini juga dilakukan oleh PT X di daerah operasi, PT X telah melakukan pemetaan sosial pada daerah sekitar organisasi. Hasil dari pemetaan sosial tersebut ditemukan potensi, kebiasaan dan hambatan yang akan ditemui dalam aktivitas CSR berbasis core bisnis perusahaan.
