摘要：La localización en superficie en el término municipal de Lozoya (Madrid) de un conjunto de piezas de industria lítica achelense permite retrotraer el primer poblamiento de esta zona al Pleistoceno medio, cuando hasta la fecha las evidencias más antiguas en el valle alto del río Lozoya se remontaban a inicios del Pleistoceno superior. El nuevo hallazgo sitúa al río Lozoya en relación cultural con el poblamiento humano antiguo de los ríos Jarama y Manzanares. The discovery of a surface sample of Acheulean lithic industry at the Lozoya district (Madrid) takes back to the Middle Pleistocene the first human peopling of this area. Until now themost ancient evidences at the Upper Lozoya Valley went back to the initial Upper Pleistocene. The new findings place the Lozoya River in cultural relation with the ancient human population of Jarama and Manzanares Rivers.
