摘要:El presente artículo estudia la producción epigráfica medieval expuesta en las ciudades, producida por la realeza o por la nobleza, partiendo de la consideración global del epígrafe como un medio de comunicación publicitaria. Se analizan los diferentes tipos de inscripciones producidos a lo largo del Medievo y su evolución, situándolos siempre en su contexto histórico, como instrumento para poder comprender las razones de sus características y de su uso. This article studies the medieval production of epigraphy displayed in cities, produced by royalty or the nobility, based on the general consideration of the inscription as a means of public communication. We analyse different types of inscriptions produced during the Middle Ages and their evolution, placing them in their historical context as a tool to understand the reasons for their features and use.
