摘要：El presente trabajo centra su atención en la caracterización fitoclimática de un ámbito espacial emplazado en la Submeseta sur y que coincide con los confines del valle del río Záncara en territorios de las provincias de Cuenca y Ciudad Real. La enorme deforestación que esta zona ha experimentado desde tiempos históricos plantea una intervención de cara a su posible recuperación y para ello es previo entender el funcionamiento fitoclimático que permite recrear no solo las condiciones ambientales del entorno sino también sus posibilidades a fin de ponderar las diferentes actuaciones a desarrollar. La aplicación del método de los Diagramas Bioclimáticos nos ha permitido caracterizar las diferentes localidades ubicadas a lo largo del valle del Záncara y ponderar de manera pormenorizada la gradación térmica, pluviométrica y fitoclimática desde el inicio del curso fluvial a su desembocadura en el Cigüela.
