摘要:Curriculum Development of Sustainable Tourism Training and Education. The present research aims to devise guides for curriculum development of sustainable tourism training and education from the perspectives of tourists. The research involved 449 tourists visiting Indonesia in 2006. Random sampling technique was employed to select the sample and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical procedure and factorial analysis. The study identified several travel charcateristics and six factors that attract tourists to visit Indonesia. The findings allude to the notion that the curriculum development of sustainable tourism training and education needs to integrate some factors: quality of products and services, creativeness and innovation, information technology, and development of multi-tasking ability. The trainees should be made aware of the importance of natural and cultural conservation, indeginous uniqueness, transportation and communication system, preparation for efficient work.
