摘要:This study is aimed at exploring teachers' and students' perception on the implementation of 1994 Curriculum at the senior secondary schools in Yogyakarta Special Territory. The results indicate that there are many new instructional materials or loading in every subject matter as compared to the previous curriculum structure. In the mean time, the implementation of the new curriculum has created certain operational problems for teachers in their functioning as curriculum implementers and decision makers at the classroom level. Among the many obstacles are changes in subject matter contents, methods, and curricular approaches which are not fully comprehended by SMU teachers; the availability of curriculum materials and supports such as textbooks, media facilities and laboratories; and teachers' articulation to new instructional materials and learning strategies
