摘要:This study conducted in the province of Bengkulu is to find out problems related to the implementation of the curriculum on local content subject area in the elementary schools, such as, among others, 1) how far do elementary school teachers in the urban as well as in the rural areas comprehend the curriculum of local content subject area; 2) what are the constraints faced by the teachers while implementing it. It is concluded from the result of the data analysis that the curriculum of the local content subject has not been carried out fully. The greater part of the teachers have not grapsed fully the meaning of this curriculum.
