摘要：This study aims to carry out a bibliometric study, identifying the course of the training areas that were studied by the students of Production Engineering course implemented in 2005 as internalization strategy of higher education in Rio de Janeiro. The study is characterized as a documentary work, descriptive and exploratory, which deals with data that were collected from the final projects of a Production Engineering course of a federal higher education institution located in the municipality of Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro. Through a bibliometric analysis, the study identified that in the course of decentralized unit Production Engineering Nova Iguaçu, the thematic areas of quality, logistics and organizational engineering, such as those more attracted and motivated students.
