摘要：Después de una síntesis historiográfica que explica cómo el importante conjunto de grafitos árabes del puente de Alcántara (Cáceres) ha podido caer en el olvido tras su descubrimiento a mediados del siglo xix, este trabajo se centra en el estudio de la más importante inscripción conocida. Buena parte del análisis se ha dirigido a probar la autenticidad del hecho bélico que narra, con el apoyo de fuentes numismáticas y textuales. Para ello han tenido gran importancia no sólo el examen del papel del príncipe ˓abbādíal-Mu˓tadd, sino también las implicaciones del laqab con el cual aparece citado. En suma, tanto por su forma como por su contenido, este epígrafe es muy interesante como fuente de información histórica sobre la época y ha de considerarse como un avance del estudio, actualmente en curso, del resto de este conjunto epigráfico.
其他摘要：Following a review of the historiographic literature which attempts to explain how the important body of Arab graffiti on the bridge of Alcántara (Cáceres) could have been forgotten since its discovery in the mid-19th century, this article focuses on the most important known inscription. Much of the analysis is devoted to proving the authenticity of the warlike episode that it narrates, backed up by numismatic and documentary sources. Two particularly important elements examined in that process are the role of Prince ˓abbādíal-Mu˓tadd and the implications of the laqab with which he is cited. In a word, in both form and substance this article is of great interest as a source of historical information on the period and undoubtedly constitutes an advance in the currently ongoing study of the rest of this body of epigraphs.
