摘要：Esse artigo trata dos dados quantitativos da pesquisa "Violência Doméstica perpetrada contra a mulher no município de Montes Claros/MG: um recorte possível". Os dados foram coletados no 10º Batalhão da Polícia Militar de Montes Claros, através da análise de 1315 boletins de ocorrência no período de agosto de 2007 a agosto de 2009. Os resultados apontam para a maior prevalência do fenômeno nos bairros de periferia e seu turno de maior ocorrência é o noturno. As vítimas e o agressor em sua maioria possuem entre 26 e 35 anos e mais da metade das mulheres já sofreu agressões anteriores. Os tipos de violência mais encontrados são a agressão física e o abuso moral. Os principais motivos atribuídos são discussão doméstica e ingestão de álcool. Concluímos que o fenômeno é um grave problema neste município.
其他摘要：This article discusses quantitative data from the research -"Domestic violence against women in the municipality of Montes Claros /MG: a possible outline". The data was collected from the 10th Battalion of the Military Police of Montes Claros through the analysis of 1315 police reports, from August 2007 until August 2009. The results show a higher incidence in the outskirts of the city and a higher occurrence during the night. Mainly the victims and the aggressor are between 26 and 35 years of age and half of the women had already suffered previous aggressions. The types of violence often found are physical aggression and psychological abuse. The main reasons are domestic arguments and alcohol ingestion. We conclude that violence against women is a serious problem is this municipality.
