摘要：This article discusses the possibility of optimizing a particular postal transportation network within the scope of the main mail processing and distribution centres in Žilina,one of four main mail processing and distribution centres of the national postal operator in Slovakia–Slovenská pošta (referred to here,in English,as the Slovak Post).The authors compare the 3–level model of postal transportation network with the 4–level model of postal transportation network that is currently used in areas other than Žilina.When comparing both models,the authors also takes into account the processing operations of postal items required before the mail is delivered to its addressee–both models accept the technological procedures of processing and handling postal items.In addition,the authors of the presented article solves the allocated task through the construction of the distance matrix to find out if the actual location of the main mail processing and distribution centre and its facilities in the city of Žilina is optimal,from the point of view of transportation distance from this centre and the other supporting processing centres located at the second and third levels respectively within the analysed postal transportation network models.
其他摘要：Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji secara teoritik dan memberikan gambaran yang lengkap atas profitabilitas Bank melalui Economic Value Added (EVA).Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah pendekatan kajian pustaka atau kajian teori.Hasil kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) Economic Value Added merupakan pengukuran kinerja keuangan yang relevan karena pengukuran tersebut berdasarkan nilai tambah,EVA adalah ukuran nilai tambah ekonomis yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan sebagai akibat dari aktivitas manajemen. (2) Dengan adanya EVA,maka pemilik bank hanya akan memberi imbalan (reward) atas aktivitas yang menambah nilai dan membuang aktivitas yang merusak atau mengurangi nilai keseluruhan suatu bank.(3) Aktivitas yang value added dapat dipisahkan dari aktivitas non value added berdasarkan proses value added assessment.(4) EVA membantu manajemen dalam hal menetapkan tujuan internal (internal goal setting) bank supaya tujuan berpedoman pada implikasi jangka panjang dan bukan jangka pendek saja.(5) Dalam hal investasi EVA memberikan pedoman untuk keputusan penerimaan suatu project (capital budgeting decision),dan dalam hal mengevaluasi kinerja rutin (performance assessment) manajemen,EVA membantu tercapainya aktivitas yang value added.(6) EVA membantu adanya sistem penggajian atau pemberian insentif (incentive compensation) yang benar,di mana manajemen di dorong untuk bertindak sebagai owner..
