摘要：The phenomenon of compression of the text by removing or simplifying the structures, without which it does not lose the unique semantic interpretation from the side of reader, is considered. Research is concentrated on finding out of basic methods of compression of maintenance of scientifically-informative texts. A theme of compression of text, that envisages rational reduction of language units and their quality use for the sake of effective informative maintenance of reader, is always actual and that is why attracts attention of researchers.Aim of the article — to set the methods of compactedness of maintenance of Ukrainian scientifically-informative texts and encourage young researchers to the study and further development of this theme.As a result of the study it was set that for short scientifically-informative text that is built so that not a single word was superfluous or confined semantic loading, the condensed presentation of information is characteristic, ability to avoid unnecessary repetitions, excessive specification helps to attain that.Unconcrete, common data and details that belong to periphery of process must be deleted from scientifically-informative texts, as not included in a semantic kernel actually new information. Their use predefined, first of all, by a mistrust to ability of reader to grasp clear simple things without the superfluous working out in detail.Attaining optimal results from creation of highly informing text is possible due to deployment of terms, summarizing words and constructions, nouns and nominal phrases, derivatives from verbs, compact attributively-nominal connections that can contain four and more components. One of the fixed assets of compression of information there are also lists, that are given as homogeneity, dividing according to subject headings and numeration.As SIT envisages a certain addressee, the compression of information must come true with taking him into account, that will assist understanding and mastering of maintenance.The obtained data and results will help to prepare specialists that will know creation and scientifically-informative text revision. At the same time they will be useful in scientifically-methodical work not only with scientifically-informative but also with all other short texts.
