摘要:For decoration of the imprints, the lamination process, which gives the imprint a greater saturation, contrast, or a certain texture, is also widely used, as well as it can protect the printed products from external negative influences such as moisture, dust, mechanical damage, etc.The quality of lamination and finished products greatly depend on the nature, smoothness and microstructure of the surface of the paper and the printing ink layer. The interaction of the adhesive components of polymer films with paper occurs on the surface of the fibers, so when the porosity decreases, the real area of contact interaction of the polymer with the basis of the print decreases, which causes the film to slip off. The quality of lamination depends on the aesthetic and performance characteristics of products.The influence of process parameters of laminating on the adhesion of the film to printed sheets is investigated. It was established that physic-chemical and structural-mechanical properties of materials (paper, film, inks) and their mutual adhesion, and technological modes of laminating: temperature, pressure and lamination speed have the greatest impact on quality laminating. The controlled factors are temperature, pressure and speed, it is possible to change them during laminating to improve product quality. The causes of product defects in the lamination process are analyzed and the methods of their prevention are proposed.As a result of the conducted research, it is established that temperature and speed of lamination (which determines time of the contact of the surfaces at the temperature), the percentage of inks overlay and their pairwise interaction have the greatest influence on the adhesion strength of the film to the surface of a printed sheet.
