摘要:The article presents experimental research of the optical density of prints on metal obtained via the thermosublimation method. The studies of dye-sublimation printing were carried out using aluminum plate of brand Amg1 with a surface color of ‘gold’ and ‘silver’ at temperatures in the range of 360...400° F during 30...70 sec. under a pressure of 320...340 kg/m2. The evaluation of prints was carried out on the basis of the graphs of dependence of optical density on the saturation percentage of a die at different process parameters for each of the CMYK colors for prints on metal by ‘gold’ and ‘silver’. Inks on aluminium by ‘silver’ have a more consistent transfer of colors. Prints on aluminum by ‘gold’ do not acquire the optimal values, especially for purple color. This metal color is not recommended for printing images of photographic quality. There are important parameters for dye-sublimation printing: temperature, pressure and time.According to the results of experimental research of samples of aluminum by ‘gold’ and ‘silver’, obtained by changing the technological factors of printing by the thermosublimation method:1. A test form is developed to ensure the stability of the quality parameters of reproduction of the image on the metal in the production.2. It is confirmed that the important technological parameters of thermosublimation printing are temperature, pressure and time. It is these parameters that depend on the color characteristics in the future and can stabilize the final quality of the imprints on the metal during the execution of the order.3. The researches have shown that carefully selected consumables, equipment and technological modes allow obtaining high quality of the received imprint. It is established that for the printing of images of photographic quality aluminum plates by ‘gold’ are not recommended because the imprints do not acquire optimal values, especially for purple.
