摘要：In this paper we attempted to portray several characteristics of the historical and social context of the Romanian society with a view to describe the temporal framework and to outline a series of events of particular importance to the development of the society as a whole,with global consequences on the cultural dynamics of the age.The Romanian language is a symbol of national identity,the cultural society of the age militating openly for the respect and the cultivation of the language,which was to leave a permanent mark on the dis– cursive memory of the Romanian society.
