摘要：Through the analysis of literary criticism surrounding the works of Antonio García Gutiérrez (1813–1884),it will be noted that La mujer valerosa and Los alcaldes de Valladolid have not a) received critical and editorial attention and b) specialized criticism he does not know both works.In the methodological section,the article briefly reviews the life and work of the author,and rescues the main studies around García Gutiérrez and the Spanish Romanticism,to present assessments that verify the lack of attention and knowledge about these two works.The main contribution of the article is to make known the literary importance of La mujer valerosa and Los alcaldes de Valladolid by Antonio García Gutiérrez,emphasizing that the critical and material elements favor the elaboration of a critical edition of philological character.
