摘要:The aim of this study were to determine the steps in the implementation of a systemic learning approach and an increased understanding of the concept of students after using a systemic learning approach in General Chemistry I. This study was designed as an action research which includes four stages:planning,action,observation,and reflection. The subjects of the study were Chemistry Education students who attending in General Chemistry I. Object of research were the understanding of the concept of student. The application of systemic learning approach carried out by discussion and assignments. Students were asked to make a cyclic diagram that showing the relationship between chemical concept. The results showed there is increase in the ability of students to think comprehensively,with a score of chemical concepts ability students in the first cycle was 31.48 and second cycle was 35.48 ,with a maxi- mum score of 50.
