摘要:The aims of the research was to describe:(1) student involvement index in scientific proces in biology hands-on,(2) relevancy betwen biological fenomena and concept (3) cognitive chain coherently in refferals discussion. This research methods was content analysis. The objects of this research are bio- logy hands-on used for high school students at Yogyakarta city region. Instruments of this research were modified from Quantitative Analysis of Texbooks and Laboratory Manual. (Romey,1968:44-51). The instruments to analyze the:(1) student involvement index in scientific process,(2) relevancy betwen bio- logical fenomena and concept (3) cognitive chain coherently in refferals discussion. The result of this research were:(1) student involment index in published biology hands-on higher than biology hands-on made in by teachers. (2) almost all of biology hands-on used senior high school students in Yogyakarta city region had a bit relevancy betwen biological fenomena and concept,and (3) almost all of biology hands-on used for high school students in Yogyakarta had a bit cognitive chain coherently in refferals discussion.
