摘要:The purpose of the study was developed a model of science-based Integrated Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) a syllabus,lesson plans and materials science to develop Teaching thinking skills. The research method is the R &D,which comprises four steps that define,design,develop,and disseminate (4-D),but limited to the first 3 steps (3-D from 4-D). Define phase includes collection the data of student characterristics,analyzes the issues in society,the definition of a variable product development,and analyze the curriculum. Design phase includes the draft the selection of products and formats. Develop phase includes the initial product development,and validation of expert and science teachers continued with the revision. The technique of data analysis are descriptive analysis qualitative and quantitative to 4 grading scale. The results suggest a model in the form of SSI-based Integrated science syllabus,lesson plans and science mate?rials were designed to develop thinking skills fit for use with very good value based valuation expert lectu?rers and science teachers. There are four issues raised are used in the themes that is the volcanic eruption, the theme of additives in food and their effects,waste management,silver waste management theme. Product development outcomes can develop thinking skills ,judging from the activity in LKS and modules.
