摘要:A need assessment to assess high school chemistry teachers’ need on for blended learning based training program on inquiry and scaffolding skill improvement has been done. This need assessment was aimed to get informations about teachers’ condition and expectation on general training program, internet usage,inquiry learning approach,and training program on inquiry and chemistry teaching. A set of questionnaire consisted of 52 open and semi-open questions was randomly spread to chemistry teacher in Sleman. There were 24 questionnaire that could be collected and analyzed. This analysis showed that teachers’ inquiry knowledge and skill have to be improved through blended learning based training with an emphasis on material that can be adopted directly to their classroom. This result become one of a source on making a plan of blended learning based training program.
