摘要：This study aimed to describe forms of errors made by students in solving word problems about two variable linear equations system and its scaffolding based on error analysis stage of Newman. Data obtained from the results of tests,interviews and the process of scaffolding. Based on the results,forms the error made by students was an error on the stage of comprehension,transformation,process skills and encoding. While the scaffolding types undertaken was explaining,reviewing,restructuring,and developing conceptual thinking.
