摘要：This research aims to develop learning strategies on Plane Geometry. The learning strategy is embodied in the form of Plane Geometry Learning Handbook to build the character of students. This research is a developmental research to develop learning strategy. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire of students character,field notes and the observation sheets. Development of learning strategy that is arranged in the form of this guide is done through stages:preliminary examination,theoretical,analytical,empirical testing,and analysis and reflection. The results showed that the learning strategy to build the character of students is learning to facilitate students to discover, investigate and explore the concepts and principles of mathematics through the group discussion, presentations and exchange opinions with other groups. The quality of the learning strategies developed from the aspects of effectiveness in fostering cooperation character and responsibility is good with a score of 80.1. Obstacle encountered in this study is the readiness of the students in preparing the material covered in class.
