摘要:The research is aimed to grow life skills of student by didacting with atomic physics equipment,to develop instructional format based on performance base evaluation,and to develop instructional strategy by optimation of the use of atomic physics equipment to increase the quality of Atomic Physics instructional. The methode of this research is classroom action research. The instruments include:handout,work-sheet,observation-sheet,quisioner,performance based evaluation,and tes. The subjects include all of the department of physic education student in FMIPA UNY. The data consist of academic skills level,the comprehension of Atomic Physic concepts,and the skills of students in using experiment apparatus. The data analyzed quantitatively to describe the process and results of the instructional in each cycle. The results show that optimation of science equipment in Atomic Physics instructional can grow the academic skills of students. The increase of academic skills of students in the first,second,and third cycle is 63.12%,72.50%,and 81,88% respectively. Work sheet and performance based evaluation could increase the concept comprehension of students in the first,second,and third i.e:61.50 %,77,00 %,and 81,50 % respectively. The instructional model whieh combine experiment,group discussion,and handout could increase the activity,life skills,skills,and comprehension of students. The increase skills of students in using science equipment in the first,second,and third cycle i.e:52%,74%,and 90% respectively.
