摘要：Modern literary theories allowed to read texts in many different ways especially in point of text analysis. These theories are predicated on approaching the text in light of certain theoretical acceptances and datas. While a part of criticism and literary theories accept to handle the text with it’s external elements as the main approach;the other part,make a push for a reading that puts the text into the center. The semiotic criticism is also an analysis and reading method which is text centered. The main principle of that theory is to give meaning to the text through evolve out of signs and explain the text according to context that signs develop. In this article,it is being tried to look the poem of Behçet Necatigil’s "Solgun Bir Gül Dokununca” in the ligth of semiotic criticism and make a trial of semiotic reading in the direction of putting across this poem which is a close text. It is being tried to be showed "the meaning charts” that appear in the poem through considering the combinations like sings (words),contexts,systems etc. which are formed by elements of text.
