摘要：Today means of mass communication serve rapidly in a wide area and make life easier in almost all areas of life. As means of mass communication reach to all segments of society,they have positive or negative effects on individuals’ moral and material culture and educational levels. In line with this,children and adults are to make best use of television,the Internet,computer games etc.,which can be part of formal and informal education,in positive and educational way because the very first function of every community and the institutional structure that makes it is to carry out its own existence. This is particularly realized with education. This study aims to reveal the relation between media Technologies and art education. In line with this general aim,solutions for the following problems were sought. 1. What are new media culture and technologies? 2. How is culture transmitted with new means of media technologies? 3. How do media technologies interact within the context of social learning teaching (learning through observation,imitation and taking model) strategies? 4. How do media technologies affect primary and high school students with regard to image and education? Data in this study was collected with observation and general survey model which is one of the qualitative research methods by reviewing related literature.As a result of the study,it was seen that types of media are collected under 3 headings. It is understood that with regard to primary and secondary school students generally cultural transmission is intensively realized with online games,cartoons and TV series shown on TV channels.
