摘要：Diversity of photo application areas has led to responding to the demand for photograph by photo agencies over time. Internet,which prominents in today’s media, has changed some traditions about photography. In accordance with the requirements of age,alternative structures have been raised to these agencies which bring together supply and demand in the field of photography. The traditional photo agencies as sources which provide photos on different topics,have transferred this function to stock photography sites on internet on a large scale. An increasing number of these sites allow expansion of the reserve in stock photography as well as raising competition in this field. There are a variety of moderate approaches as well as critical to these developments in stock photography. In this context,this study emphasizes stock photography’s features,benefits,elaborateness,representatives on internet and criticized aspects.
