摘要：While solving increased level of professional preparation of the physical educaron teachers, in modern days increased attention is given to intellectual, moral, cultural an professional increase of the creative undependability of the future specialists with the aim to create shift from presently dominant physical education, which is primarily oriented towards the development of the physical capabilities forming the perfect moving abilities and habits, to development of the whole humanbeing The lead role of these tasks belongs to the acmeology, a multidisciplinary science about a human and society. In this paper, a basic categorial apparatus of acmeology has bean defined, according to the level of its modern development, covering professionalism and competency. To reach defined goal the following scientific methods have been used: analysis ofmetho- dological literature, questionnaire and modeling. Twenty professors of the physical education with up to 10 year s and more as well as 20 students of the Physical education faculty from the third and forth year of study have been questioned.
