摘要：This study examines the relationship between openness and inflation in selected developing countries.For this purpose the annual data covering the period of 1980-2006 are used.In order to point the effect of openness;exchange rate,openness to foreign trade and foriegn direct investment are used.In addition to this,GDP per capita is also included in the model by the thought of openness effect on economic growth and this effect may be inflationary.According to the estimation results obtained using panel data models,openness and,accordingly,GDP per capita have positive effects on inflation.
