摘要：In this stud y,the presence of a meaningfijl difference betwee n state anxiety scores of third division professional soccer players and their injury wa s asses sed,taking into consideration their home and aw ay matches.Professional soccer players (n=201 in a total o f 14 teams) were taking p art in the third group of the third division,named as the 7th South Anatolia Region by the Turkish Football Federation.State anxiety scores of professional soccer playe rs were determined by the Spielberger inventory and their injury sta tus by a questionnaire.Data was ana lyze d statistically by applying two factored ANOVA variance analysis.State anxiety scores of professional soccer players were grouped as low,medium and high.The Inventory and the questionnaire were applied to the players 20 minutes before the matches.As a result:before the home and aw ay matches,a meaningful (p < 0.05) difference wa s fou nd between state anxiety scores and the injury status of professional soccer players.
