摘要:To evaluate performance and anaerobic threshold levels of endurance cyclists and to scientifically apply the results to road training was the main purpose of this research.Male road cyclists (n=ll) aged 16.6 ± 1.9 participated in the study.Aerobic power and anaerobic threshold tests were performed on different days.Maximal oxygen consumption was measured both directly and indirectly during the aerobic test.In the anaerobic threshold test,power output and heart rate at the 4.0 mmol/l blood lactate level were determined.On a separate day,during an incremental speed fie ld test using three steps of 20 min duration,blood lactate levels and heart rates were measured at the end of each step.Using the SPSS for Windows program,statistical differences were assessed using paired two sample Wilcoxon test and correlations betw een laboratory and fie ld tests were calculated.No significant correlation was fo un d betw een laboratory and f ield anaerobic threshold tests.But it was estimated that cyclists could improve better their endurance levels using workouts between 78.8 to 84.3 o∕o of their maximal heart rates,and betw een 87.2 to 93∙1 o∕o of their threshold heart rates obtained during laboratory tests.Keywords:Cyclists,anaerobic threshold,aerobic power,blood lactate,testing.
