  • 摘要:The purpose of this study is to investigate the Organizational Commitment (0C) among Malaysian hotel.employees.The aim is to identify the perception of emp/ovees concerning oC thot they hove perceived at their workploce ond,how gender,education level and range of salary ffct them.The dato hove been clletede through sets of questionnare answered by 624 respondents who are hotel employees in Malaysia.The dimensions of OC which are ffective,continuance and normotive hove been analysed using exploratory foctor analysis (EFA).The dato then been anolysed using t test ond ana/ysis of variance (ANOVA) to find the significance differences between gender,level of education and salany scale with the three dimensions of 0C The result of this study reveals that there is no significont dffrences between three dimensions of o0 and gender.Findings also show that there ore sgnijficont dffrences between educotion level and three dimensions of oC.Similanly,the results also disploy significont differences between salary scale ond,affective and continuance commltment but not with normative comitment.Manogerial implcations,Jimitatlons and future research directions are also discussed.
  • 其他摘要:Tujuan darl peneltlan inl odolah untuk mengetahui Komltmen Orgonlsasl (0C) dl antara karyowan hotel Malaysio,Tujuannya odalah untuk mengidentjfikasi persepsi karyawan tentong oC yong telah mereka rasokan di tempat kerja mereko dan bagaimana jenis kelamin,tingkat pendidikan dan berbogai tingkat goji mempengaruhi mereka.Dato yong telah dikumpulkan melolui sotu set kuesioner yang telah djawab oleh 624 responden yong merupakan karyowan hote/ di Maloysia.Dimensi oc yong ofektif,kontinyu dan normotif telah dionolisis menggunokan onalisis faktor exploratory (EFAJ.Doto kemudion danalsls menggunakon t-test dan anallsis varlans (ANOWA) untuk menemukon perbedoon signifikan antoro jenis kelomin,tingkot pendidikan dan skolo goji dengan tigo dimensi oC.Hasil penelitian menunjukkon bahwo tidak ado perbedoan yong signijfikan antara tiga dimensi oC dan jenis kelomin.Temuon jugo menunjukan bahwo terdopot perbedaan yang signifikan ontora tingkat pendidikan don tigo dimensi oC.Demikion pula,hasil jugo menampilkan perbedoon yong signifikion antoro skalo 9oji dan,ofektif don komitmen kontinyu tetapl tidak dengan kom/tmen normatf Imllkasi monajerial,keterbotasan don arah peneltian masa depon jugg dibahas dalam studi ini.
