摘要：Este trabajo se elaboró en función del servicio brindado por el centro de desarrollo integral de la familia a los adultos mayores. En dicho servicio se han presentado dificultades en cuanto a la atención, es por ello el objetivo fue caracterizar el servicio ofrecido por el centro de desarrollo integral de la familia con el fin de determinar irregularidades o problemas que alteren el normal desempeño del área. El estudio fue abordado desde la mirada del paradigma positivista, enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético deductivo, tipo sustantivo, diseño de investigación no experimental de corte transversal, descriptivo explicativo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 88 usuarios del Centro de Desarrollo Integral de la Familia. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta, para lo cual se elaboró un cuestionario valido, fiable con valor 0.74 por alpha de cronbach y con coherencia interna. Los resultados obtenidos a través de la regresión logística establecen como hallazgo, que la dimensión que predomina en el servicio integral de la familia, fue el desarrollo Humano, concluyendo que el indicadorde mayor peso es el cognitivo y la integración familiar, además se hace fundamental mejorar estrategias que permita el manejo del ocio y tiempolibre en familia.

The study was approached from the perspective of the positivist paradigm, quantitative approach, deductive hypothetical method, substantive type, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 88 users.
