摘要：Este trabalho analisa as climatologias da temperatura do ar e da precipitação da Bacia do rio Paraíba do Sul(BRPS), localizada na Região Sudeste do Brasil. A precipitação anual varia entre 1000 mm no norte do estado do Riode Janeiro e 2000 mm sobre a Serra da Mantiqueira. Aproximadamente 80% da precipitação da bacia concentra-se nosmeses de outubro a março, sugerindo um regime monçônico na região. A média anual da temperatura média diária variaentre 16°C no extremo sudoeste e 22°C no extremo norte da BRPS. Essa grande variação se deve a localização da BRPSna região de transição entre latitudes médias e tropicais. O efeito da passagem de frentes frias sobre a temperatura e oefeito da atuação da Zona de Convergência do Atlântico Sul sobre a precipitação podem ser observados na distribuiçãoespacial e temporal das variáveis estudadas.
其他摘要：This work analyzes the characteristics of the temperature and precipitation climatologies over the Paraíba do SulRiver Basin (PSRB). The annual precipitation varies from 1000 mm over the northern part of the Rio de Janeiro state and2000 mm over the Mantiqueira mountains. About 80% of the rainfall occurs in the months of October through March,suggesting a monsoon-like regime. The annual mean daily temperature varies from 16°C in the extreme southwest toover 22°C in the northeast of the basin. This large temperature gradient is due to the location of the BRPS between thetropics and middle latitudes. The effects of the passage of cold fronts on the temperature of the region and the effects ofthe South Atlantic Convergence Zone on the precipitation distribution are well observed.
