摘要：This paper aims to classify and analyze landforms in the broader area of Messaria region of Ikaria Island, Greece using GIS techniques. Landform categories were determined by implementing Topographic Position Index (TPI). The classes obtained from the TPI were related with the geological pattern of the study area for further interpretation of the landform evolution. The analysis of the data indicates the presence of three landform units in the study area, affected mainly by geology.
