摘要：Children's rights in Korea have been gradually progressed since the ratification of the UNCRC in 1991. Children at risks,however,sill remain in our society. In order to seek ways to overcome and minimize those threats,current isues have been dealt with. At the academic level,this study discusses about the diversification of research on the areas of child's rights,balanced research of Children's rights,an ofcial agreement on the definition of children's age,an analysis of the policy and laws for children,effective education on children's rights,and an analysis of govenment budget for children. To promote children's rights in poliey and practice,the following tasks have been suggested : (I)a periodical asessment of children's current states;(2) development of a monitoring system for independent children's rights;(3)a withdrawal of reservations of UN CRC;(4) establishment of a system for children's rights education;and (5) development of a child findly community.
