摘要:The purpose of this study was to investigate children`s understanding of beliefs by age, type of questions, and experimental conditions. The subjects were 72 children,12 boys and 12 girls each at 3,4,and 5 years of age. They were randomly assigned to "standard" or "disappeared" conditions. The results showed that children`s understanding of other`s beliefs differed by age. The children could explain other`s behavior from other`s belief, but they could not predict other`s behavior from other`s false belief. These differences were found only in the "standard" condition..
