标题：The Development of Intervention Programs Based on Characteristics of Children Victimized by Peers: Focus on Parent Education and Social Skills Training Programs
摘要：Based on characteristics of victims,the parent education program focused on building a new concept of personal respect toward their children and on changing overprotective and coercive parenting styles into democratic parenting. The social skills training program focused on building self-acceptance,self-esteem and interpersonal capabilities in victimized children. Three groups,each composed of 6 victims and their mothers,were compared to examine the effectiveness of the programs. Children in experimental group I showed marked increase in self-esteem. They also reported that their mothers` overprotective parenting decreased after participation in the parent education program,indicating the effectiveness of the intervention program.
