摘要：We present to the readers of our journal this issue,which is essentially devoted to the critical assessment of the philosophical legacy of Nicolai Hartmann,German philosopher of the 20th century with Baltic and Russian heritage (genealogical as well cultural).Nicolai Hartmann undoubtedly occupies an outstanding place in the history of philosophy.He is among the few contemporary thinkers (1882–1950),who tried to offer in — depth analysis of highly diverse philosophical problems.Curiously enough,his name is not broadly known either in Russia,or in Europe.Only in recent literature do we come across attempts to evaluate the significance of his philosophical heritage for modern philosophical discourse.
