摘要:The purpose of this study is to introduce the issues that the nurses remain silent,the reasons why they are silent and the perceptional consequences of silence with regard to nurses and hospital management.The study was done between January and February 2013 at a public hospital in Ankara.The questionnaire,which was developed by Çakıcı (2010),was used.The questionnaire form delivered to 200 nurses which chosen random sampling.137 nurses responded the form.The questionnaires were conducted face to face.Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics.According to the results of the study it was determined that most nurses (65.7%) remain silence to their managers.The issues that most nurses remain silent is “molestation” (75.2%) on the other and the most effective reason why they remain silent is that administrators seem like “as if” they were interested (18.2%).When nurses couldn’t talk with their managers they prefer talk to their colleagues (64.2%).Although silence is a popular but relatively new topic,further studies are needed in the healthcare field.The topics such as reasons of the silence,consequences of silence,its effect of organizational performance,reflection on organizational behavior of employees could be suggested.
其他摘要:Bu çalışmanın amacı;hemşirelerin sessiz kaldığı konuların neler olduğunu,sessizleşme nedenlerini ve sessizleşmenin hem hemşire ve hem de hastane yönetimi açısından algılanan sonuçlarını ortaya koymaktır.Çalışma Ocak-Şubat 2013 tarihleri arasında Ankara’da
